Kumasi Technical University (formerly Kumasi Polytechnic) is one of Ghana’s leading technical universities. Established in 1954 as Kumasi Technical Institute, it became a polytechnic in 1963 and was converted into a Technical University in 2016 under the Technical Universities Act (Act 922).
Located in the heart of Kumasi (the Garden City of West Africa), KsTU focuses on engineering, applied sciences, technology, business, creative arts and health sciences. It trains high-calibre skilled manpower for industry and national development.
